Hi I’m Amrita and I try to incorporate positive moments through my design. We currently live in a multicultural society where everyone views aspects of design differently. I have learned to become obsessed with design problems and their users which has helped me create meaningful design solutions. I’m constantly on the lookout to learn new skills to make myself the best I can be and I hope to work with other designers to create exciting & engaging designs.

My goal is to continue working on exciting projects that allow me to learn new skills and develop my design processes. I apply a substantial amount of creativity to all projects and ensure they are executed efficiently and effectively. My skills include great understanding of branding, customer experience planning, and UI and UX. I have worked freelance throughout my studies and I took on an internship last summer for a creative agency working on brands such as Bentley Motors and Porsche GB. In addition, I have designed material for the Environment Agency in Reading to assist communication on the Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme.

In the future, design is going to be cross-disciplinary and all about collaboration with different areas of design. Living in this decade where social media is the main medium to spread information. Design has become a key factor in attracting people’s attention and engaging them with information. My goal is to be the medium between artists, designers, and businesses. Fulfilling the needs of the business sector by finding suitable designs. As well as, helping the artists to deliver their messages to the public successfully using design tools and knowledge.

My goal after university is to secure an internship or graduate placement related to graphic communication to gain industry experience. As a keen problem solver, I am excited to tackle the new challenges an internship would throw at me and work outside my comfort zone. As a methodical and organised designer, I believe I would work well in the high-intensity situations presented and I am excited to learn from industry experts. Not wanting to limit my future design opportunities, I aim to keep my possibilities open by gaining expertise in as many areas of design as possible.

Hi, I’m Angie! Exploring the depths of editorial and web-based projects, my approach to design revolves around the use and balance of white space and a pop of colour, resulting in clean minimal designs with a dash of excitement to attract the eyes of the user. Through design, I seek to not only create a seamless experience for the user, but to also further enhance and perfect my own skills in hopes of becoming the best designer I can be. I hope to work with other creatives to showcase their work to the world.

In the future I hope to be able to pursue a career that will challenge my creative capabilities. I feel very passionate about graphic design and see it as a respectable field for employment, however I see my ambitions going beyond this career path. In the future I hope to gain more experiences in fields similar or related to design so that I may find a position that best fits my needs and aspirations.
